Safety

One of the key foundations on which we have built our company and culture is safety. Every CSV employee is committed to providing a safe work environment for each of our team members, trade partners, and clients. We pride ourselves on continuously evaluating our processes and training our employees. Our practices have been recognized on both state and national levels.

Training & Education

We continually empower both our team and our company to be the very best we can be. With the mindset of “never stop learning,” we encourage our employees to take advantage of every opportunity to further their knowledge and skill. From management education, internship programs, mentorship programs, continuing education, and apprenticeship programs, we are proud to offer a variety of learning opportunities to our employees and community alike. Participating in events such as Chesapeake Worlds of Work and Take a Peake: Job Shadow Day are a few of many ways we are able to show the youth in Hampton Roads just how amazing our industry can be.

Community Involvement

Supporting our community is just as important to us as our projects and customers. Our dedication goes beyond the corporate level of giving, and our employees are encouraged to fundraise, donate, and volunteer for organizations such as Special Olympics Virginia, Make-A-Wish Virginia, ForKids, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia, the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation, American Red Cross, and many others. With the help of our community partners, we continue giving back with our annual “School Beautification” projects, giving Chesapeake Public Schools improved learning areas for students to return to following each summer break.
